BRIEF

The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed our lives, including how consumers make payments and complete transactions. Visa approached us to do a video series highlighting such changes. Essentially, to produce bite-sized video content on what consumer trends will look like in the near future and how businesses can adapt to keep up.

RESPONSE

We decided to do a talking-head video, where we interviewed Visa’s APAC Principal Economist, Glenn Maguire. We wanted to make a factual yet compelling interview, so we added a few animations to keep it visually interesting and engaging for the audience. Additionally, we incorporated a “Behind the Scenes” feel by starting each video with Glenn entering the room.

We also rented a sound-proof studio to ensure good audio quality, as we learned the hard way during our first filming session — there was a lightning storm, causing repeated restarts. Subtitles and captions of Korean, Simplified Chinese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese were included as this video is shown internally and externally around the region.

OUTCOME
